Leadership
I rejoined ASCO in 1999 as Project Accountant, and this included a part-time role as Accountant for Enviroco. By 2002, Enviroco had grown enough to merit having its own Accountant. Subsequently, I became Finance Manager and then, in late 2006, Finance Director.
After graduating with a First Class Honours in Accountancy from the University of Aberdeen, my early career was spent in the profession with KPMG and, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, I left in 1996 to join Wood Group Offshore as their Financial Accountant. WGO was taken over by ASCO in 1997, and I left ASCO briefly in early 1999 to join the Anderson Cars Group.
