I first started working for ASCO Group in June 1995 as an Industrial Tank Cleaning Supervisor and helped work on the development of the tank cleaning business.

In 1998, following Enviroco start-up, the tank cleaning division was moved into the new business and I moved across from ASCO with a number of my colleagues to Enviroco. Since those early days, I have now developed as the company has grown and my current position is Industrial Services Manager (Scotland).

In previous employments, I started my career as a motor mechanic with Fiat in Aberdeen working for them for 3 years before moving on to a company called Nu–Clean. Here I started cleaning vessel tanks for the first time. I was with Nu-Clean for 7 years before taking on the supervisory role with ASCO.

I have enjoyed a number of great successes within Enviroco and faced new challenges that we as a company have overcome. The business that we are in can be very demanding with high expectations, but when our customers give me positive feedback on our safety, systems and customer service performance, it reminds me that in spite of the demanding nature of my job, that it’s the right job for me.

Going forward, I am very proud to be a major part of this company and will almost definitely come face to face with new and exiting challenges for our customers globally.
