Enviroco announced today they have secured a seven year contract to provide waste management and industrial cleaning services to Shell UK Ltd. worth in the region of £50 million.

The contract, which extends Enviroco’s 10 year relationship with Shell, will see them managing the recycling and disposal of wastes produced at onshore and offshore locations and providing cleaning services for vessel tanks as well as at Shell’s gas terminals.

Enviroco will service Shell’s Northern North Sea, Central North Sea and Southern North Sea offshore assets and also includes land based facilities at St. Fergus, Aberdeen, Mossmorran, Forfar, Bacton and Great Yarmouth.

Dan Taylor, managing director of Enviroco, said: “This contract with Shell offers both of us a great opportunity to move waste management and industrial cleaning onto another level in terms of both service and local treatment. We are absolutely delighted to continue this partnership through the provision of local, high quality environmental services, including training and advisory support, container supply and drill cuttings management.

2008 has been a successful year for Enviroco with the addition of significant new contracts with CNR International, BIS Salamis, Scottish and Southern Energy, Petrofac, Seacor Marine and Well Ops, amongst many others. Further, contract extensions were agreed with Total E&P and ConocoPhillips.

Enviroco is a subsidiary of ASCO, the international oil and gas logistics group.

Billy Allan, ASCO chief executive, said: “Shell is one of our major clients and we are delighted to be able to extend our relationship with them in this way. The safe and responsible management of oilfield waste is a critical issue for the industry and this award is testament to Enviroco’s capability.”

We will be taking advantage of locally provided waste management solutions that enable us to improve our environmental and cost performance, while pursuing our goal of zero harm to people or the environment."

The contract, which commences this month, extends Enviroco’s partnership with Shell to 2016.
